A croquembouche is also ideal for displaying at milestone birthdays and anniversaries, certain to be pride of place in everybody's photographs.

Rich in symbolism, a croquembouche brings prosperity and abundance to celebrations including marriage, where the cone-like structure represents the joining of two families, and the breaking of the chocolate or caramel shell, the happy couple's first married task together.
